USS Challenger (As Enterprise) by Dennis Bailey Star Fleet Space Station by Ricky Wallace Background by The Creator of All Things
This version looks too much like the TMP Enterprise, and not as much the JJ-prise. Hull is larger and nacelles are farther apart and a bit smaller... but y'know what, that is NOT a bad thing. This looks MUCH better than the travesty we saw on-screen. *thumbs up*
It's nicely made, but a little cluttered as a still image. As a composition for an animated flyby it would be superb, but as a still its hard to separate the ship from the station. If it were not in space I'd say you would need to add haze to make the background elements fade a little and split the layers somewhat, but in space scenes you might not be able to get away with that. It might work if done subtly, but I think it might be more effectively done with changes to the lighting or composition.
