I live in a rural area with my wife. We have started a small hobby farm for ourselves with chickens, geese, ducks, quail, and goats. I am a bagpiper and play for various functions. I also enjoy model building, science fiction / fantasy books and movies, renaissance and pirate faires, studying and teaching history, photography, and being creative. The rest is just mundane stuff and I endeavor to be as non-mundane as I can. :D

Folks,

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been getting PMs from 3-4 deviants asking for copies of my models.
Although I'm quite flattered by the requests, the models are not yet ready to be released. They'll be released when I feel that they're finished and ready for release, not before.

In addition, I've had to deal with a few theft issues with what I have released and its a PAIN.

One of those that asked has been understanding, the others have kept asking, and it's starting to tick me off. If you really need a Trek ship there are plenty of models out there. If you can't find what you want, then learn to model.

I don't mean to sound grumpy, but I feel like I'm in the story of Michelangelo and Pope Julius II over painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel...

Pope-
"When will it be done?"
Michelangelo-
"When it is done..."

Pope-
"Well. When will it be done?"
Michelangelo-
"When it is Finished..."

Pope-
"Well. When will it be Finished?"
Michelangelo-
"When it is Complete..."

Pope-
"Well. When will it be Complete?"
Michelangelo-
"When it is done..."

They'll be released when I'm happy with them, not sooner and honestly the first ones I'm considering on release are 'non-trek'...

thanks

Love your work. My wife and I were admiring your lost in space art. Impressive. I grew up watching Lost in Space with my dad on Sun mornings before church. Lost in space first, the land of the giants, and Voyage to the bottom of the sea. Great stuff! You are brilliant! Thanks for taking me back to some great tv classics!
